We are a part of a family of hospitals, health care services, and medical providers delivering compassionate care to people throughout the South Puget Sound region. Our affiliates include St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, Franciscan Medical Group (a network of primary care physicians), the Port Clinic, the Physician/Health System Network (a multi-specialty provider network), and the Franciscan Care Center at Tacoma. We are part of Catholic Health Initiatives, one of the largest not-for-profit health care systems in the country.
A PHILOSOPHY OF CARE
When the Sisters of St. Francis founded St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma in 1891, they dedicated themselves to providing health care to all people in a compassionate, understanding, and dignified manner. Today, the same philosophy guides all of our actions. Our mission centers on providing high quality care that meets our patients' medical needs while providing emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families. We believe this three-part approach — physical, emotional, and spiritual — is essential to healing the whole person.

PHARMACY OVERVIEW
Franciscan Pharmacy is committed to helping customers in the Tacoma community. You’ll find every member of our staff to be knowledgeable and accessible. While our commitment to personal service is still the most important aspect of our business, we are constantly expanding to include many patient care services.
We specialize in cardiovascular care, compounding, diabetes, arthritis, durable medical supplies, HIV patient services, homeopathic medicines, men's health, nutritional counseling, osteoporosis, ostomy and incontinence, respiratory care, and smoking cessation.
